Special thanks to the people who made SAS possible!
Formerly working at NASA, Cheryl van Zuylen made great contributions by helping SAS founders sort through paperwork, setup as a nonprofit, learn to write grants, and much more. She also organized the first STEM Day at Laneview Elementary School. Overall, Mrs. V is the foundation of SAS, and an amazing mentor to Siyuan, Annika, and Selina.
As the husband of Cheryl Van Zuylen and a professional engineer, Mr. Bill van Zuylen helped work out, prototype, test, and engineer successful projects for STEM Day.
As our very first members, special thanks to the middle school students from Morrill and Sierramont middle schools who have supported SAS from the beginning and assisted with all our events so far.
