2025 SAS STEM Day

Another successful year of STEM Days!

On May 20, 2025, SAS hosted a STEM Day at Sierramont Middle School for 40+ rising 6th graders. Our high/middle school volunteers guided the students to build their own battery powered skateboard project.

In summer, SAS continued their journey to spread STEM by hosting a two day activity on June 9th and June 11th at Summerdale and Majestic Way Elementary School, respectively. SAS members, staff, and high school volunteers helped elementary schoolers build their own STEM projects.

Much preparation was done for this event in advance, and special thanks to Morrill and Sierramont middle school SAS students who assisted with preparation. This year's STEM Day continues to be a major success, and SAS plans many more to come.
